I’ve stayed at several hotels in Katoomba, and this is one of the better value options. Nothing too special, but it does the job: clean, neat, and with comfortable beds. I’ll be back!

The location is excellent and check-in went smoothly, but we won’t be returning to this motel. We’d stayed here before and came back over the Australia Day weekend, three years later. It looks like little or no maintenance has happened since our last visit. The shower was dreadful: extremely weak pressure, and turning the taps by just 1mm shifted the water from freezing to scalding. There were dead bugs behind the microwave and a hole in the floor under the table. Most worrying, the chain lock had been removed. Our toddler could open the motel door and potentially run straight into the car park, which was a real safety issue. We’ll look at other accommodation next time we visit Katoomba.

The self-check-in was straightforward, with clear instructions, even though nobody was at reception during our stay. I needed to ask someone about storing our bags, and they were very helpful when we got in touch. The room at Three Sisters Motel in Katoomba, Blue Mountains, was comfortable and had what we needed: a small microwave, refrigerator, kettle, hot and cold AC, and hot water in the bathroom. The location is fantastic, around a 5-10 minute walk from Scenic World Skyway, Woolworths, and various Katoomba restaurants. Great facilities and location, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting the area.

We spent five nights here, with the rooms serviced daily, and really appreciated the upgrade and extra space for our family. The electric blanket was welcome too. After days exploring the blue mountains, it was nice to return to a warm room. Great location, within walking distance of Echo point and many other walks, and close to scenic world. We also recommend dinner at the RSL.

The area was peaceful, with the Three Sisters close by and bus stops handy for getting into town. There was a check-in mix-up, but a staff member quickly sorted it by moving us to another room. The bathroom could use an update. We also stayed one night beyond our booking by mistake, and the extra night was easy to arrange. Thanks for the hospitality, I'd recommend it.
