Dulcis Domus Apartments on Sussex

The facilities I booked for were a letdown: the pool was empty, the spa wasn't working and there simply was no sauna. There are better priced places around with facilities that work, and I wouldn't recommend this one. At arrival, the person who met us seemed clueless. The sheets were stained, the dishwasher didn't work, and the washing machine was missing. Someone had to bring and install one while we were out. They also brought a portable cot, but it was so uncomfortable my baby wouldn't stay in it for even a minute.

We had a very clean, spacious apartment with air conditioning and WiFi included. Just know there's no reception, so you might have to wait for the guy to arrive with your key.

The place was clean and close to restaurants and Darling Harbour. The air conditioning was really noisy, switching on and off loudly through the night. The single bed was tucked inside a cupboard, which is fine if you don't mind sleeping in an enclosed space.

The apartment was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's very central, close to Chinatown. We booked for four, but there were only beds for three, so an extra bed had to be brought in. It was very hard to sleep on, but otherwise the stay was fine.
