The rooms were tidy, but there was a strange mouldy smell. Reception care was poor: Expedia showed a welcome drink was promised, yet I had to ask for three days. Each time the receptionist said they needed to speak to their manager, and nobody followed up. Getting into town was possible, though it was a bit too far to walk comfortably. Finding street parking was easy. Housekeeping was good in general, but our room wasn't vacuumed during our five-day stay. The breakfast buffet at the cafe next door was cold, repetitive and poor quality. For this price, I'd probably choose somewhere else next time.

The location made things so easy, with shops, pubs, plenty of tasty food and transport close by. We had a great time here. The rooms were lovely, and the balcony was a nice bonus. Beds were really comfortable, not hard, thank god! Thanks.

The room was fine, but getting a decent night's sleep was another matter. Other guests were shouting to each other and running around close to midnight, then housekeeping staff spoke loudly outside our door between 6 and 7 in the morning. We paid for a good night's rest and didn't get one. Service was only so-so. We arrived in the late afternoon to find the front door locked and no one at the desk.

The reception staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice. I thought they were a bit pricey for their size and location, though. The parking lot is tiny and crowded with SUVs and trucks, so only try it if you're very confident driving in tight spaces. We have a BMW sedan and scratched it while parking, which put a real dampener on the whole trip.
