It was a bit disappointing, though the lower price and easy access to public transport make it a bare pass. The biggest problem was the beds: a very hard mattress and thin pillows, with Donna and no spare pillows or linen. It was uncomfortable for my back and neck. There were few amenities, not even tea bags or a small UHT milk to make us feel at home. The compact apartment does have a good range of appliances, including a fully functional kitchen and washing machine/dryer, plus an outdoor balcony with city views from higher levels. It’s near Strathfield train station and shops and eateries are within easy walking distance, though very Korean dominated. The downside of that location is regular noise from trains and planes from the airport.

I spent about six months here as a tenant and had a good time. The place is clean and has a nice view, with a supermarket and train nearby, which made things convenient. There are lots of restaurants close by, and I had plenty of delicious Korean food. I strongly recommend it!

The studio was clean and well located for shops and restaurants. The bed was incredibly hard, like sleeping on a table. Many rooms face the railway line and can be quite noisy. To reduce the noise, choose a room number ending in 04.

The stay was terrible. There wasn’t any soap or hand wash, especially concerning in this COVID time, and no body wash in the shower either. For a studio, there should have been a table for eating, or at least two chairs. We had to keep bringing chairs in from outside and moving the TV back and forth to make room. There was no table on the balcony, either. No towel was provided for the floor by the shower. When I asked, the housekeeper said they were out of towels. The kitchen had no dishwashing liquid or tea towels. We used two plates, but with nothing to wash them with, I took a third one out and found it was cracked. I complained, but got no feedback.

The station and plenty of food are really close. The room was small, but fair for the price, and my host was accommodating during my long stay. The kitchen is tiny, and the vents were dusty.
