Novotel Sydney City Centre

The Executive King Room was a restful, clean, refurbished space, and the staff served us with humility and care, as well as being efficient. We also had two spectacular buffet breakfasts. It was easy to reach the train, local restaurants, and the Darling Harbour bridge from this very handy location. We’d definitely recommend Novotel here.

We’ll come back. A huge, warm thank you to everyone, with much respect from Lea and John. John had major back surgery and needed time to convalesce before flying home. The head manager welcomed us at reception, and the staff were unfaultable throughout. Ploy, our waitress, was terribly polite and went above and beyond. Matt, another waiter who was there on 5 days, also did more than the basics. He helped me prepare food trays with extras for John when he initially couldn’t walk. The room was kept pristine, thanks to all the very pleasant staff. Bonus points and $ for Ploy and Matt. xoxoxo

Sam and Thush made our girls weekend fabulous. They were so friendly and accommodating from check-in through departure, and went the extra mile whenever we needed something. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Our room was exceptionally clean and the temperature was just right. The beds felt like sleeping on clouds. If first-class customer service matters to you, I’d recommend this hotel. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Birdie, the hotel restaurant, had delicious food and a nice dining environment. All in all, it’s a nice place to stay in Sydney. The location is perfect for getting to Sydney Airport and visiting different scenic spots. My room was spacious and comfortable, though the air-conditioning was noisy and stopped automatically when set to “auto.” It woke me in the middle of the night when the room got hot and stuffy. Traffic noise was also clearly audible at night, even from the 16/F, so double-glazed windows would help.
