The harbour is right there, and it's a serene place to stop in the beautiful bay area. Ferries pass through without much regard for their wash, which can be annoying. It's a handy point for reaching the western bay area and southern Point Piper, with lovely places to stroll between. The popular waterfront Regatta Restaurant and Bar is here too, a nice spot for food, watching the Harbour and relaxing.
A short stroll from the main street, with its shops, restaurants and cafes, this is a lovely coastal walk. There's a little beach, places to rest, toilets and cafes, plus playgrounds for kids. It seems to be mostly locals who come here.
There are so many boats to look at, and the view from here is great. I like walking around the area. You can also take in the view while having a meal at The Boat house restaurant.
The marina is a great place to wander and look at some spectacular boats. If you've got a few million to spare, you could easily spend it adding to your collection here. The view is nice, but the service and food were poor. Everything we ordered at the boat house was burnt to a crisp, and the smoothies had far too much juice for my taste.
A good spot for a sunny walk by the marina bay. Lots of boats use it, and there are ducks and plenty of seagulls around.
