Varenna

Lorraine was a fabulous host, and my friends and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The place is immaculate, with lovely extra touches. Such a stunning property.

The location made our weekend easy, with shops, restaurants and cafes just a short stroll away. Five girlfriends and I spent two nights in the charming, clean, beautifully presented house and absolutely loved it. Breakfast supplies and a bottle of wine were among the little touches that made it feel so welcoming. We’d happily recommend it and would love to come back.

The garden was a peaceful, private spot for morning coffee and fresh mountain air, and the house itself had plenty of room to relax. It’s a quiet, secluded retreat, yet close to local shops and cafes. This beautiful historical home in the Blue Mountains has wonderful original features and furniture, alongside thoughtful modern updates. It was immaculately clean, warm, and full of charming details. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and clearly care about preserving the home’s heritage. Clear instructions and thoughtful touches made everything easy. A unique, memorable getaway. We can’t wait to return.

Early September was perfect for seeing the surrounding gardens in full bloom, including all those cherry blossom trees. Varenna is ideally placed for the sights and sounds of the Blue Mountains, with a short, flat walk to the Mall in Leura. I was delighted to return to MW, and Lorraine was as responsive as ever, with her trademark attention to detail. The property is beautifully appointed, and you want for nothing. A perfect choice for a restful, decadent long weekend.
