The motel was a friendly place to stay during the music festival. The office and bar staff were lovely and let us check in early and leave late. Our room was roomy and comfortable. Festival pricing was a big jump, though it is their busiest time of year. I’d have rated it higher if the restaurant staff member hadn’t been so rude and obnoxious. She shouldn’t be in hospitality.

The front desk staff were genuinely kind and helped us with everything, and the place was spotless in a very central spot with a restaurant on site. Our standard room was clean, but extremely basic and dated. It felt tired and a bit overpriced, especially for a longer stay. The upgraded rooms shown on the website look much nicer, so they may be the better option if you’re staying awhile. For one night, the standard room was fine.

We had a comfortable, spacious room and the bathroom was clean and sleek. The pool was lovely in the heat, and the front desk team were friendly and quick whenever we needed help. Great location too. I’d happily return.

I was bitten by mosquitoes as soon as I walked into the room, and the furniture was both dirty and damaged. Being right beside a highway made it noisy as well. It felt like an old, cheap rental flat with shabby furniture, not a hotel, and the price was far too high for what we got. It ruined my only night in Tamworth.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. The rooms weren’t the worst, but the air conditioning barely worked. The remote only responded sometimes, and the unit itself ran inconsistently, so they provided a portable heater instead. That isn’t what was advertised or included in the tariff. In the middle of winter I expected the air conditioning at Best Western-Tamworth to work. The website also suggested there’d be a microwave and mini bar, but neither was there.
