Country Capital Motel

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a hot meal, all the trimmings, and good coffee served with a smile. It was included in the room price. We stayed in a renovated garden room, which was comfortable and a good size. The place is being renovated and already looking good. It’s family run, and you can tell they care. I’d stay again.

We stayed with our four kids, ages 2, 4, 6 and 8, and felt very welcome. The manager Howard is lovely and happy to sort out any questions or issues. The neighbours were respectful, so we all got a good night’s sleep. Our room was clean, a decent size, with lovely white sheets and a comfortable bed. The cleaners don’t speak English, but they’re beautiful people, always offering towels, condiments and whatever else we needed. Their communication is impeccable. A warm place for children, and we had a wonderful stay. I’d highly recommend this motel.

The hot breakfast had real country charm, and I liked that they acknowledged the local producers. Our room felt airy and was clean, with the linen perfectly laundered and folded. The heating warmed it up quickly on a cold day. The whole stay felt a bit like being with a happy country family.

The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was fantastic. Our room was clean and tidy. We needed to attend to something and weren’t sure when we’d get back, so they kindly let us check in a little early and gave us the room key. My husband and I would definitely stay again.
