SkyLodge Temora

There was plenty of parking, and the service was excellent. I appreciated the extra soap, shampoo, and fresh towels, and the shared kitchen was well stocked, especially with plenty of milk. The room and bathroom were both really spacious. A very clean and pleasant place to stay.

The room heater worked well, and having a heat light in the bathroom was a bonus. The shower could have been hotter, and the toilet paper was single ply. Three ply would have been better. There were plenty of biscuits, but more sugar would have helped. It was clean and comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a TV in my room when I'd expected only a shared one in the lounge. Breakfast was basic, just individual cereal packets, bread, and spreads. I doubt there'd be enough cereal choices if all four rooms were occupied. I'd rather pay a lower room rate and have no breakfast supplies.

The location worked perfectly for our hot air balloon ride assembly point by the Aviation cafe. If I come to Temora again, I'd choose SkyLodge again. Each house has four ensuite rooms, with clean, crisp bedding and rooms that were a decent size, warm, and cosy. The ensuites had all the basics, and the shared kitchen and lounge were spacious. Sorting out breakfast in the morning was easy.

The layout worked perfectly for us and our friends. Four fine motel rooms with large, comfortable beds and good bathrooms open onto a central lounge and full kitchen. It's a bit different, but a wonderful motel. It's at the aviation museum, which is excellent, easily five stars.
