The cottage has a lot of character and history, with excellent modern touches that don't take away from it. It's comfortable, quirky and in a great spot. We loved the delicious jams and the eggs from Mavis and Madge, along with all the extra touches. Thank you, Trudi, for a wonderful stay. The games and outdoor activities would make it a lovely place for kids too. We had a great time exploring Temora and the surrounding area, and we'll definitely be back. Temora is a great town, and I'd highly recommend the cottage for couples or families. Many thanks again. Cheers, Cathy & Peter

Our three year old twins especially loved feeding Madge & Mavis the chickens and collecting their eggs every day. They also had fun with the dress ups and playing outside on the trampoline and in the sandpit. The accommodation was very family friendly, super clean and full of lovely little touches that made it feel like home away from home. Amazing place for our family.

Thelma's Cottage was a comfortable, beautifully restored little home and a great base for exploring the area. Temora is such a lovely town. During our stay, we caught the street party, with stalls and activities beside and down the middle of the road while pedestrians had priority. The cottage is just 100 metres from the main street. Thoroughly recommended.

Early February '23, we spent three nights here and loved returning to the cottage each afternoon after busy days out doing touristy things. It had everything we needed as a couple and was full of thoughtful touches. Sitting on the back deck was a treat, especially watching Madge and Mavis carrying on. They seemed to think the sandpit had been put there just for them!

The kitchen was spotless, well equipped and had useful extras. We did a load of washing too, and the provided detergent meant we could hang it on the line, where it dried quickly. The couches were comfy, and Netflix and WiFi were free. There are lots of interactive spots for kids, and Trudi's art around the garden is stunning. The chooks are lovely, calm and keep to themselves. Thelma’s Temora felt like a sweet little oasis. Thank you, Trudi, we loved your Haven and will be back! We had fun at Termo’s for dinner, where a SuperCar testing team from the airport had taken over the pub for Sunday dinner! 😂 We also tried a tasty local beer on tap, Bulla Creek from Young, at The Railway Hotel. Temora's a great town. The local pool seemed very new, was clean and had almost no one there when we visited. There's plenty of shade on the grass, plus sun chairs and hammocks to relax in. The kids' water slide opened at 3pm Sunday, but call to confirm the times. We highly recommend heading to Junee to visit the Licorice and Chocolate Factory. The grounds are stunning, the treats are tasty, and there's a very good gift shop upstairs.
