The firepit, marshmallows, and peaceful sounds of the place made for a memory we’ll treasure. Mansfield on the Manning was a lovely fit for our group of 8, teenagers included, with plenty of activities to keep them occupied while they explored the landscape. The house had everything we needed and was furnished just right. We’ll definitely be back :)

Susie was great to communicate with, and we’d definitely stay here again. It’s just 15 mins from town, yet feels tucked away, with beautiful river views. There’s plenty to enjoy on site too, including the pool, tennis court, and kayaks. Such a beautiful spot!

The hosts were really friendly, and our cabin was clean and comfortable. It’s a wonderfully relaxing place for a getaway on the Manning River. We also got a bonus view of the Milky Way under magnificent skies. I took the photo with my phone’s astrophotography option. Magic! 100% recommend.

The verandah became my favourite place to unwind, and I loved having a day bed for reading and dozing in the afternoon. Our bed was comfortable, the pool was fantastic during our hot week over new years, and our two large dogs had a great time running, exploring, and swimming. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and I’ve never felt so relaxed away with our dogs. When I mentioned a problem with the TV, Neil and Susie brought us a new one within a couple of hours. The bedroom outlook was amazing, and I can see why the French doors don’t have clear windows or a fly screen. If I’d been able to lie there gazing at the view, I might not have got up! The property itself is stunning, with a large lake as well as the river, and lots of games to play. Bring mosquito repellent if it’s wet. We enjoyed staying in the cabin next to our friends’ cabin. Both were excellent and well equipped. The pool is beside the family house, with a lovely outlook. A really enjoyable visit.
