Comfort Inn Grammar View

I stayed there recently while in hospital, and the location was great. The room was spacious and clean, with beds and pillows more comfortable than at home. Everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. Room service was a big help, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. It all made the stay much easier.

The room had recently been renovated and freshly painted, and the bed was really comfortable. The location is lovely, with a nice but hilly walk of about 28 minutes into town. An Uber back cost $10. I missed that the kitchenette had no sink, which was my fault, but it made filling the kettle difficult since nothing fit under the tap. Staff said they’d replace crockery if needed. The two wine glasses were the smallest I’d ever seen, so I bought a pair at the discount store. We also had to call someone to clean the very dirty balcony, which had a cigarette butt on it. The old, rusty furniture out there was awful. It’s a shame, since a few dollars spent on those things could make the place worthy of five stars.

We had a great stay at Comfort In Grammar View during the Carnival of Flowers. The location was quiet and well maintained, and close to Queens Park. The room was clean and modern with everything we needed, and the comfortable bed made for a great night’s sleep. There’s a pool for hot days, and the on-site restaurant served beautifully prepared, quality food with friendly service. I’d definitely love to stay again next time I’m in town.

A pretty nice mid-range motel in a good location. The upstairs rooms get a nice cross-breeze. It’s a little dated, but everything still works, and the pool is welcome.
