I decided not to go ahead with the booking. I was trying to reserve three nights for AUD $879.27, then the site said the trip price had dropped to $652.68. When I entered my payment details, my card was rejected, and an email said a $925.13 transaction had been declined because it was an international payment. I live two hours from the hotel, so the owners being overseas isn’t the issue for me; the confusing pricing behavior is. Watch out so you don’t get caught by it.

The café downstairs served good food and coffee, and the staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. My room at the Laguna Serviced Apartments was spotless, comfortable and huge, with the city centre close by. I stayed for two nights and would highly recommend it.

I’m back at the Cafe for breakfast today, and it’s become my new go-to. The outdoor dining area is relaxing and pleasant, and everything is always clean. When my friends stayed here during a visit to me in Toowoomba, we had breakfast together. The food was lovely, the coffee superb, and the friendly team were so helpful and accommodating. It was busy, but our orders came out quickly. Thanks for another wonderful experience.

The view was nothing special, but it’s a commercial area, so that wasn’t what I came for. There are shops nearby and a fantastic Cafe on the ground floor. The room was very spacious and clean, bigger than some flats I’ve had, and checking out was easy. From my first call, the person was polite and helpful. On arrival he helped again, and even brought my room key downstairs while I was doing training so I wouldn’t lose time on a break. A stress-free stay. Thank you.
