We were out all day during our two nights there. It’s a great place in the middle of a quiet neighbourhood, about a five-minute drive to the ferry. Really clean and well kept, though a busy place, and we’d totally stay again. It was a shame the pool closed at 6, since a swim to cool off after a long day touring would’ve been nice, but we understand. The wifi was very weak, so don’t rely on it. We didn’t need it.

The grassy sites were lovely, and even though it was jam-packed when I stayed, it was pretty quiet. Reception staff were friendly. The walk into the esplanade was flat and easy.

We stayed on a powered site and had a great time at Ingenia Holidays Hervey Bay. The park was quiet and well set up, with tidy grounds and everything clean, well maintained and easy to access. Amenities were spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to get around Hervey Bay. I’d happily return and recommend it to campers and caravanners in the area.

We really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and there was a burger van one of the nights, which was a nice extra. The camp kitchens were clean and well equipped, and our en-suite was clean too. We stayed two nights on an en-suite powered site. Shops were about a 15-minute walk away.

The free wifi isn’t enough for streaming, though there’s a paid option. The en-suite and site had a slightly odd angled layout that made backing in a bit hard. Facilities were okay, with a small pool, basic kitchen and a quiet park. We spent a few nights on an en-suite powered slab site, which cost about the same as many plain powered sites. Five stars for not getting greedy and overcharging compared with other places nearby.
