We got a really cheap price, which was a nice change, and it made a good stop on our drive. The room was clean and roomy, with a comfortable bed, electric blankets and a lovely three-seater couch. Staff were helpful, and parking had huge spaces. The bathroom was dated, though very clean. There are some nice touches, but the place is showing its age. We'd stay again.

The carpet needs a proper clean. Even in a pet-friendly room, it wasn't okay to smell pet urine. They charged an extra $20 for our pet, and the motel was a little dated. It was okay for the price, especially as a pet-friendly motel, and I'm not fussy. The best price came from negotiating on-site.

There was a patched hole in the door that still needs sanding, finishing and paint. Those little signs of wear could be fixed to improve the room's appearance. Otherwise, the motel seemed well maintained, and my room was clean, tidy and equipped with what I needed for a comfortable, practical short stay.

You get what you pay for. It was tidy and clean, but old, and I swear the floor had a wave in it. The shower barely rinsed my hair. The staff were friendly when I arrived, though less friendly when I left. They could work on that.

The gardens and plants are beautifully kept, and they help cut the highway noise. My room and ensuite were spotless, and the reverse-cycle air conditioner worked really well. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, which means a lot with my chronic back pain. A great find among Traralgon's motels. I'll be back.
