Quality Inn and Suites Traralgon

I drove three hours to the property and only learned when I arrived that there was no room available or ready. My reservation had been canceled without any notice, and there was no staff around to help at the time. Eventually I was given a room, but it was unacceptably dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. I've attached photos showing its condition. The service and cleanliness were far below what I expect from a hotel, and the whole situation caused a lot of inconvenience.

After 10pm, staff wouldn't properly deal with the noise. Kids were screaming and running around, music was blaring at midnight, and the duty manager only asked them to turn it down a little. At check-in, the man at the desk was drinking a Jack Daniel's and handed over our rooms without checking ID. Later, when I locked my key card inside my room, someone opened the door without checking that it was mine. The staff just don't seem to care. Really frustrating.

The room was in such poor condition that I checked out several days early. There was hair in the bathtub, dust, several holes in the wall, lots of spiders, and even bugs in the bed. I hope the staff improve things for future guests, but I won't be returning.

Really comfortable, with a great shower. A good place to stay.
