Melbourne Airport Motel

Our hostess was very gracious and the service was fabulous. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable, and the bed was really comfortable too. There's no food on site, though it was an easy walk to find something to eat.

Our room was tiny and very noisy because of the nearby highway. Breakfast was included and advertised as being delivered to the room between midnight and 9:30, but there was no explanation of how it would work. Reception was unattended. The phone was always busy, and after leaving two messages and being promised a callback, nobody called and there was no breakfast. Eventually someone came to reception and handed us a small plastic cube with a little cereal, cow's milk, orange juice and a snack bar. If you have an intolerance or allergy, you're completely out of luck.

The photos online were completely misleading, and the real view looked nothing like them. Most of the facilities shown were missing, and the room didn't have the things we were told were included. This felt like false advertising. I was very disappointed and wouldn't stay here again.

I booked a stay and emailed to ask about late check-in, but the email bounced back. I called and spoke to a man who said he'd email the instructions and send a text. Nothing arrived on the day of my booking, and when I tried calling again, the phone was disconnected. They then cancelled my booking and charged my card. Scam. Do not book.
