A handy budget getaway on the main road, though it was still quiet. The room had everything we needed: a full kitchen and lounge, air conditioning, a renovated bathroom, a stove, microwave and even extra pillows. It was clean too. Hard to find better value for your money.

I visit Forster often and have found this place satisfactory in every respect. The staff are wonderful and easy to communicate with. It’s close to all sorts of amenities, including the beach, restaurants and liquor shop. Wishing them all the best.

The updated bathroom had modern features and plenty of hot water, and the beds were okay for a budget hotel, though not comfortable. But in three nights, our room was never cleaned. At $170 a night, I’d expect basic daily room service. Staff were friendly, but very lazy. We cleaned the room ourselves, and clean up was left outside our door for two days. The kitchen windows and blinds badly need cleaning, though that didn’t affect our stay. The air conditioning was broken, but the lovely weather meant it wasn’t an issue this time. The TV was very small and had Netflix, which we didn’t use, so that wasn’t a big deal. I’d stay again, but would first discuss our expectations for basic daily room service with the staff.

Communication about check-in was good, but I can’t think of much else positive. We stayed three nights and the room was never cleaned or tidied. There was dust caked everywhere, the toilet seat was broken, and the beds were uncomfortable with pillows hard as rocks. The TV was so tiny we almost needed binoculars to see it from bed, so it wasn’t functional. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a family at all.
