I got maybe four hours of sleep, and the stay was awful. Late at night an ambulance arrived, then the police. A girl screamed at him in very colourful language for about 15-20 minutes before finally getting into the ambulance. The shower in the next room was incredibly loud through the wall, apparently from the water pipes, and my bed was so soft it felt like I was lying in a hole. In the morning, a woman from another room across the driveway came over to talk to me. She seemed to be off her chops on something, then got in her car and drove away. I later found out they house homeless people. It seemed like accommodation for drug users.

The manager/owner noticed I was staying here and at their other motel, "Arabella," and offered me weekly rates. Nightly prices won’t suit everyone. The area doesn’t meet all my needs, but it costs less and there’s more availability when I need it. The vending machines at these motels also have an excellent selection.

Thank you for a lovely two nights. The motel was the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in many. Management were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Sarah was excellent, friendly, helpful and extremely professional, a real asset to any employer. Thanks to everyone, we’ll be back.

We were travelling to Toowoomba for a funeral, and when I mixed up the nights on the booking, they were very understanding and happy to change it. The room and bathroom were spotless and well presented, with clean bedding and no pulling of the sheets. The beds were comfortable, so we slept well. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite, and breakfast was delicious and always arrived on time. I have no hesitation recommending the motel to family and friends, and we’ll book again when we return to Tweed Heads. Thanks to the owners and staff of the Twin Towns Motel.

We were desperately looking for a room, and a cancellation came up at arabella. Thank God our prayers were answered. The owner is a humble, good man. The room was clean and spacious enough for the two of us, and we got a good two days’ rest. I’d recommend it to anyone, and we’ll say hi to the owner and his wife whenever we drive to tweeds head, GB.
