Allonville Motel

The room was extremely dusty, and it wasn't cleaned during the four nights I stayed. The beds weren't made daily, the bin wasn't emptied, towels were changed only once, and tea and coffee weren't replenished. I only stayed because Wagga had no other accommodation available. I wouldn't recommend it.

The smell in the rooms hit us as soon as we walked in. They looked clean, but it was very uncomfortable. In the family room, one toilet blocked up and made the other toilet smell awful. We told the office, then went to the pool while waiting. My children couldn't swim because it didn't seem clean or hygienic: there was sand on the bottom and white particles throughout. A staff member later said they couldn't fix the toilet and would need someone else to come. They offered another room, but it wasn't connected, so we agreed with the office to cancel the reservation through booking.com, and the office said they'd approve it. After we left, the owner didn't approve the refund. They kept calling, saying we'd checked in late and asking for our bank details. We're usually flexible about accommodation, but this was far beyond that. Please don't come here.

The beds were comfortable and the pool was really nice, though the rooms were small.

I was hoping for a lazy, uninterrupted morning, so I was prepared to overlook the musty room, poor cleanliness, mosquitoes getting under the door and a TV that didn't work. Then just after 10:30, a rude, angry man banged on my door and told me I had to leave because he needed to clean. I showed him the messages agreeing to a midday checkout, but he stayed irate and insisted I go. The only reason I'm giving two stars is that management had agreed to the late checkout. Here are some pictures of the filthy, subpar dive motel.
