Burringa Motel

Leigh, the owner, gave us excellent service. He called to confirm the room, arranged access for when we arrived, and suggested places for dinner and breakfast. The pool was lovely on the 40 plus degree day we were there. My sister, our parents, aged 80 and 73, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a good size, with great showers and comfy beds. I’d highly recommend this motel to solo travellers, couples, families, and older adults.

We loved how clean the room was, and the beds were so comfy. The shower pressure was amazing, and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, wash cloths, and cakes of soap were provided. After dinner we relaxed by the pool, which was very clean and had comfortable outdoor furniture. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed a few days while our son graduated from RAAF, and the motel went above and beyond for our big family. They even supplied an extra bed so our son could spend two nights with us. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and tidy, the pool was great on the hot days, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. We’ll stay here again when we’re in the area.

The parking space is right outside the door, and the family room had plenty of room for four or five of us. It was clean and well kept, with a big wall mounted TV, a small fridge and freezer, plates, cups and cutlery. There’s a two burner convection stove, though finding its switch took some hunting, plus a kettle and a large microwave. Coffee sticks and two 200 ml cartons of milk were provided, along with bedding and bath and face towels. It was a little chilly at night in spring, but the preset wall heater kept the room comfortable around the clock. The hot water was strong, though you have to adjust it with a separate cold water knob. It’s not a five star hotel, but the price is reasonable. We’d consider booking again.
