The rooms were modern and pretty good, but my first impression of the place was awful. The dark haired woman at the counter was so rude, didn’t smile, and made me feel like I didn’t belong there. Later, I heard someone being put out of their room after a domestic, then banging on the door for about five minutes. The walls are thin, too. I’m sure there are more welcoming places to stay in Wagga. I wouldn’t make the same choice again.

I’d stay here again. The staff were really friendly, and the location was convenient. I was only stopping over for one night and had no trouble with parking. Sorry, my original review was for a different motel. I thought I’d already reviewed this one.

They cancelled our booking only weeks before the NSW Touch Football State Cup, after months of delays and repeated follow-up calls. I first asked for confirmation in October last year, but they said they were waiting for prices to be set on 01/01/25. Even on 25/01, they allegedly still hadn’t set them, blaming the manager’s holiday and personal issues. I can’t help wondering if they’ll raise the prices during this ‘sold out’ period and make double. A complete joke of a business and an embarrassment to Wagga Wagga. If you care about integrity, avoid this place.

At 9pm, after calling all over town for a room during the busiest accommodation week of the year, I was facing a cold night in my car. The management and staff at The Club Motel went out of their way to find me a room at a very fair price, and it was clean and comfortable. They really saved me that night. I know where I’ll book next time I’m in town. Thanks, S. This isn’t the first review like this, and I doubt it’ll be the last.

My ground-floor room was mostly quiet, and the bed was super comfortable. The shower pressure was good, too. Parking was easy, right by the door, with another lot next door in case the main one filled up. The Club Motel and Apartments is conveniently beside the local marketplace and close to lots of restaurants and cafes. Great stay in Wagga Wagga.
