Dinner takes a bit of planning since there aren't many restaurants in town. The place is small, so I laughed at a review saying it was hard to find. Inside, it looked much better than the photos and felt really spacious. Check-in was easy, and they sent the details through Booking.com well ahead of time. It was clean overall; I did spot a few cobwebs by the window, but nothing concerning. I don't really understand the negative reviews.

The villa is right by Walpole Inlet, and the town jetty and boat ramp are about a minute away. I loved watching the sun go down from the upstairs balcony, then unwinding in the spa after coming back cold and wet from fishing. The villa was clean and nicely decorated, and the staff managing the villas were friendly and flexible when I needed to change dates. Sandy, one of the cleaners, was especially kind. Because of some health and personal issues, she took time to let me charge my phone and get organized for public transport. Walpole itself is lovely, with beautiful forests, lookouts and scenery, and helpful locals. I'll definitely return with my girlfriends for a fishing and girls' road trip. Thanks for such a great stay and service.

The villas are tucked away on their own site, and there's covered parking for your vehicle. Ours was clean and had everything we needed. Just pick up groceries at the local shops along Main Street, about a 10-minute walk away. It was a delight to discover the WOW boat jetty was only a five-minute walk away too, for a really entertaining and informative trip.

The jetty view was amazing, with stars outside, but the room was in a spot with nothing around it. There were spiders and flies in the room, and the window wouldn't open. There's no air conditioning either. At least they provided insect spray, which was good.
