BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks - Warrnambool

The location is fantastic, with an easy ten-minute walk to big brand supermarkets and the CBD. I've stayed at this park a couple of times in recent years, on an ensuite site, and would happily come back. It's neat and well maintained, with pleasant, courteous and helpful staff. The camp kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and clean, and there's a large indoor pool, recreation area, meals room and BBQs. The only downside is that the ensuite shower is small, though the facilities are otherwise clean and cared for. A great place for all kinds of campers.

We tent camped on an ensuite site from 26 December to 28 December with my husband, our four children and our golden retriever, and we absolutely enjoyed it. The service was amazing, and the facilities were excellent and clean, with lots to keep the kids busy. This was our last go at camping after three failed attempts, but we'll be back. Thanks for restoring our faith in camping. Our fur baby even got a complimentary treat bag, and the kids had a treasure hunt.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, the grounds were very well maintained, and the bathrooms stayed clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely, and the BBQ spots and kitchen facilities were convenient and well looked after. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Honestly, I'd give it more than five stars if I could.

The indoor pool was the only real positive, though the spa was out of order and nobody told us, even though we were looking forward to it. The two women at reception were lovely and helpful. The ensuite site was convenient but very dated and needed a deep clean and renovation. Laundry was available, but the machines were old, poorly maintained and overpriced, and didn't wash or dry the clothes properly. The location was good, but the park itself needs serious updating. It was okay for a short stay, but disappointing for the price, especially as a place listed as a BIG4 park. We won't return at that price.
