The place was spacious and modern, and had everything we needed. Our bed was super comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and there was air conditioning in the living area and a fan in the bedroom. We were in Unit 2. Netflix on every TV was a great addition, and there are shared laundry facilities if you’re staying a few nights. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the main area with bars, restaurants and shops. We stayed for a couple of nights around NYE, coming up from Melbourne as we do this time of year. It was amazing value, especially compared with what others in our group got for the same price. Hopefully we can book early enough to stay next year. Highly recommend.

Jo at the office was really friendly and easy to deal with. My husband was in Warrnambool to study at South West Tafe and arrived late on Sunday night. They’d turned on the heater, so his room was warm when he got there. It was very clean and comfortable, and the welcome felt warm too.

We won’t stay here again. I’ve stayed in better equipped apartments for less, so this place is off my list. The kitchen was short on utensils, with no scissors or gloves for taking grilled food out of the oven. The kettle was rusty, and there were no extra towels or amenities. For five people, they provided just 15 ml of body wash. We were also told to wash all the dishes and put them back in the drawers or face an extra cleaning fee. I can understand loading the dishes and running the dishwasher before leaving, but waiting around for the dishes to finish and then sitting there for 2 hours 45 minutes was too much. To start with, we’d made a reservation but got no email or message through Agoda with check-in instructions. Check-in wasn’t smooth, and when we called, they said everything had been sent to Agoda.

We spent three weeks here and found everything we needed. The apartments were comfortable and very clean, and it was easy to get to the shops, lakes and ocean. The railway station is a 10-minute walk away. I’d recommend these apartments 110%.

Unit 3 over NYE was an amazing getaway. It’s a family-run business, and they really care about making the stay easy and comfortable. This is the best place we’ve stayed, with the most amazing service we’ve had at any accommodation. If you’re staying in warrnambool, this is the place. 😉
