Warrnambool Motel and Holiday Park

This place feels like more than just a holiday park. Lisa, Steve & Sarah make it personal and friendly, and they’ve always been so accommodating to me and my dogs. They go above and beyond to make sure all the guests are comfortable, and are always asking how our day went or if we need anything else. I’ll recommend their Park to everyone!

We came for a peaceful break from our routine, but left feeling stressed and short on sleep. Our camping site was in an odd spot, the park’s only elevated site, facing the main road with no surrounding trees. It was exposed to direct sun and strong winds, and the wind hit our tent harder than it did the other sites. The location is convenient for town, but being right by the main road meant constant traffic noise and poor sleep. On top of that, teenagers staying in the park were drunk, shouting and swearing around 2am without hesitation. I hope management takes steps to address this so other guests can have a comfortable stay. The park has most of the basic amenities, but they seem crammed into a small area compared with other holiday parks nearby. The facilities, furniture and amenities were old and dusty, which didn’t make for a comfortable or relaxing atmosphere. It didn’t feel like a 3 star park to me. We might have found better accommodation in town by spending another $15-20 a day, and after this experience we may not stay here again.

The welcome at reception was warm and helpful, and there’s a great jumping pillow, pool and games room. The economy cabin was very basic and had only had a rough clean before we checked in. The beds weren’t especially comfortable, and the cooking setup was basic too.

The grounds are beautifully kept, the hosts are very friendly, and the location is great. We’ve recently travelled to Warrnambool twice with our dogs for local events, and Warrnambool Holiday Park has been perfect. We stay on an ensuite site, which is spotlessly clean, with good hot water pressure in the shower. Highly recommend.
