The room was spotless and so comfortable, with crisp white linen, pillows to suit everyone, and great water pressure. Kim and Simon made us feel right at home. We had a lovely Friday evening dining with them, and the food was divine. Breakfast was generous, fresh, beautifully presented, and unhurried. It’s a beautiful place, and every part of our stay felt just right.

We left feeling as though we’d stayed with old friends. Kim and Simon were welcoming hosts and gourmet cooks, so don’t miss the in-house dinner. Set in the secluded, beautiful Ferguson Valley, the lodge is an easy place to unwind, and three nights would be well spent here. Our room was inviting and comfortable, with its own deck shaded by vines and roses from the garden scenting the air. Kim’s thoughtful touches included different pillow sizes, throw rugs for the couch, and a great selection of books and magazines. The grounds have quirky art along a peaceful stream, and you can spot blue wrens, kookaburras, and black cockatoos. A lovely place to relax, refresh, and recharge.

We were comfortable and properly relaxed during our two nights here. Each lodge has its own lovely little touches and feels luxurious. Kim and Simon were a delight to talk with before our stay, and so accommodating while we were there. They’re caring hosts who went out of their way to make things enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks so much to you both.

The breakfast alone is an experience, totally without comparison. Kim and Simon were two of the nicest proprietors we’ve spent time with, and the hospitality was wonderful. Fresh flowers and little sprigs of herbs on the towels and bedding made the extra details feel special. The property is amazing to wander through, with a curated outdoor art trail and access to the national park. There are plenty of chances to lose yourself in the peaceful, restorative setting. Two nights felt like a whole week of renewal for body and soul. We’ve already told family and friends about it, and hope to return in winter.

Such a peaceful winter escape. I loved hearing the Ferguson River and the birds from our private verandah, which looked out over the beautiful bush setting. The rooms are luxurious and thoughtfully appointed. Kim and Simon are wonderful hosts and cooks. Highly recommend!
