Snug Beach Cabin And Caravan Park

At Snug Caravan Park, we camped unpowered and loved having the water and off lead dog section so close. The facilities were good, and there's even a library for book lovers. The staff were very friendly. It's a fantastic base for exploring Cygnet, Hobart and Bruny. We loved our time there!

We used the place for caravan parking, but there are also well laid out cabins for people travelling by car. It's one of the few pet friendly places with a dog wash. Facilities are well maintained: clean, well lit toilets and spacious bathrooms with proper hot and cold water. The kitchen area was a highlight, with lots of comfortable seating, a library and board games. There's also a BBQ station and play equipment you can rent at no charge. Great experience, and the location is right next to a beach.

Our cabin was clean and comfy, like a home away from home, and the amenities were terrific. The reception staff were great and explained the local sights. Snug is about 30 minutes by car from Hobart CBD, and with petrol prices so high, we appreciated them telling us about the Park and Ride from Huntingfield, 15 minutes away. As pensioners, our fare was $1.20 p/p per trip. My husband and I would highly recommend this Cabin and Caravan Park.

Waking up to the ocean and being able to head straight to the beach for a walk was a real highlight. Snug Beach Cabin & Caravan Tourist Park is right by the water, and my cabin was cozy, clean, and had what I needed to unwind. The staff were friendly and made everything easy.
