The GF sausage roll was the highlight for me. Its pastry was crisp and tasty, unlike a lot of GF pastry that can be pretty average. I’d driven past Farm Club Cafe, then turned around to check it out, and I’m glad I did. There are some gluten free, vegetarian and vegan choices, though GF pies and sausage rolls take a little longer while they heat up. The complimentary sauces were tasty, with GF options too, and the sweets looked tempting even though I resisted. Prices seemed reasonable. Everything comes in cardboard takeaway boxes, but they’re compostable and recyclable, and I’m guessing that helps keep overhead costs down. Worth stopping in if you’re nearby.

The pies were the BEST I’ve ever eaten, and I had a whole new taste experience. The gardens are lovely, and I liked seeing the chickens. There’s plenty of room for kids to run around, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. I’ll be back soon!

As a local, I’d somehow never stopped in before, so I finally went to try the pies. We sampled a couple of varieties, and both were great, with chunky pieces of meat and plenty of sauce and flavour in the fillings. We tried some desserts too, and couldn’t fault them. Definitely worth the trip.

I’m not usually much of a pie eater, but these were amazing, honestly the best I’ve had. They’re freshly baked and taste homemade. Worth the drive for sure.

What a great family-run local business. The pies are wonderful, and the florist shop is lovely too. Their dried wreaths are absolutely divine.
