Cocos Accommodation

Our Deluxe Retreat bungalow at Cocos Castaway was spacious, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed, plus an ocean view. It was across the street from the main hub, so convenient, but still peaceful. We stayed for a week in October. When our flight home was delayed by over two hours, the owner kindly let us wait in a spare guest room, where we could sit in cool comfort. Much appreciated, and a good stay.

The units were well equipped and centrally located, and the views were lovely. I’d recommend choosing one with a deck.

Annelies and Graham were lovely hosts, and the accommodation has a fabulous ocean view, with so many turtles around. Everything had been thoughtfully chosen and the place is beautifully decorated. The person who put it together has great taste, and I couldn’t think of anything that was missing. The cars, scooters and bikes they hire out were all in very good condition. The canoe tour was a fantastic excursion and definitely a must. Cocos is paradise, and Castaway is a paradise to stay in. I’ll be back. Thank you both for making my stay so pleasant!

A pleasant, central place to stay on west Island, and a nice modest property. Our only issue was confusing checkout information. We were given two different times, 7am and when the plane lands. We were ready to leave at 8am, for our 11am flight with check in between 830am and 1030am, and were told off that we’d miss our flight if we didn’t leave right away. That wasn’t the case. We walked across the road to the airport and waited at the cafe for 30 minutes before check in opened.
