The breakfast supplies were generous, with artisan bread, real milk and butter, cereals, yoghurt and premium orange juice. The cheese platter is delicious and large enough for dinner, so be sure to order one. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, a good heat pump, and everything was sparkling clean. The place is spacious and classy, with lovely city views from its high spot in West Launceston and an interesting garden. It would be easy to live here full time. Diana has thought of everything. Thank you for a wonderful three-night stay at Topiary Haven.

The gardens are enchanting, and the location near Cataract Gorge is superb. Diana and Barry were warm and caring hosts, with a lovely welcome and a fridge and pantry stocked so well. The home itself is magical. Easily the best place we’ve ever stayed.

We loved taking in the garden and views over Launceston with a cuppa. It was a cozy, comfortable base for visiting the city, and we’ll definitely return. With our ten-month-old, it worked perfectly: the full kitchen and laundry had everything we needed, and the cot was great. I even spotted a baby bath, though we didn’t use it. Thank you, Diana!

We found the apartment private, detached and self-contained, with tasteful styling and stunning gardens. Diana and Barry were friendly, easy to approach and knew the area well. The kitchen was well equipped, dinner was easy to make, and there was plenty for a self-catered breakfast. It’s well placed near the city centre and Cataract Gorge, with off-street parking, WiFi and Bluetooth entertainment. Tasmanian wines are available by the bottle too. I’d recommend Topiary Gardens to couples, especially those planning day trips around Launceston.

The owners were friendly and looked after us really well. Topiary Haven is a modern, well-equipped cottage behind their home, with a magnificent garden between the two. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could need. It’s in a quiet Launceston suburb, with a short drive to the Gorge in one direction and town, the river and nearby wineries in the other. One of the best holiday rentals I’ve stayed in. I’d definitely come back if I’m in Launceston again.
