The Maya homestead has a bit more space between the wires in its boundary fence than the other chalets, so we brought some fencing and joined the homestead and annex across the backyard. That let our tiny poms move between them safely without any little escape artists slipping out. Another lovely holiday there. The facilities are excellent, and Sheila always goes out of her way to make our stays memorable.

Sheila went above and beyond to sort out my booking after I got the dates wrong, and I really appreciated it. This was our second visit to Redgate Forest Retreat, this time in a different house. Both places were lovely and had more than enough room for our short stay. It's very dog friendly, with enclosed play areas and plenty of forest to explore. We'll definitely be back!

Sheila was so lovely, working around our late booking changes and making sure we had a memorable stay. The location is beautiful, with comfortable dog friendly accommodation, a big enclosed area for the dogs to explore, and lovely forest walks. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Christmas at Maya was magical. There were eight of us and two dogs, and we stayed for four nights. Sheila was wonderful, and we had everything we needed. We booked all four houses for the weekend of my wedding, and it worked out perfectly. Our family could stay together without being on top of one another, and everyone was happy with their place and plans to return. The houses are modern and clean, with a lovely rural outlook. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, the couch is a great place to relax, and the dogs were secure in the yards. You'd never know there were neighbours. Staff are incredibly nice and nearby if anything comes up. This was our second stay in the Wongin Chalet, and I'm sure we'll be back. Awesome holiday, whether for a wedding or just a weekend. Highly recommended!
