Blazing Stump Motel & Suites

Staff were polite and helpful, but cleaning and maintenance need serious attention. There were German cockroaches throughout the apartment, and it wasn’t serviced during the few days we stayed. We also ran into lots of maintenance problems in the unit and the common areas. I wonder if they cut costs by getting rid of the maintenance team 6-12 months ago. It’s been a long time since my previous stay, and the accommodation has gone downhill significantly.

Clean, with a comfortable bed and basic facilities. The cabins were handy and reasonably priced for an overnight stay while attending a function at the bistro.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but Christiane was so friendly and helpful that I had to say something. She was amazing. A really nice place to stay.

The room was large, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette had free tea and coffee, plus there were plenty of complimentary toiletries. There’s a suitcase stand, so you don’t have to rummage through your bag on the floor, and room service is available. The shower was a bit unreliable, with trouble keeping the hot water going, and the towels felt a little crunchy. There are two pools, a sauna, and a pub right next door. I’d stay again.
