Sage Hotel Wollongong

The staff were lovely, always willing to help with a smile, and the food and service at our family meal in the restaurant were perfect. We had an executive suite with two double beds and a balcony. The room was good, though the view looked onto a back courtyard that was being upgraded. A sea view would have been better. Breakfast was okay. We arrived late at 9:30am on the first morning, and the hot food had dried out. It was much better on the next two mornings when we got there earlier. All in all, I’d highly recommend it, if only for the lovely staff.

The staff made a big difference to our stay. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We loved the Sage hotel and would definitely stay again. It’s in a handy spot near the city, less than a five-minute walk from the beach and foreshore walk. The pool area was great for relaxing, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast had everything we could ask for, and the restaurant offered a nice range of dishes, from light meals to mains.

Aaron at the front desk was very nice and checked us in smoothly. We got into our room before the official check-in time, though that depends on availability, so it’s worth checking ahead. The location is handy, with bus stops to the city centre close by. The room and facilities were clean, and the pool was a comfortable temperature. We enjoyed using it throughout our stay. Can’t complain, this might become our go-to hotel whenever we’re in The 'Gong.

Bushra made check-in easy, and the staff at The Sage are fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. We had another lovely weekend stay and will be back soon.
