The room was clean and cozy, and this is a decent place to stop for a night on the way to the waterfall circuits. There wasn’t much happening nearby, though. We stayed in the “Cozy Unit,” so make sure you ask not to be put in that one. There seemed to be vacant rooms, but she put us closest to the main road, where passing cars were loud all night. There’s no sink in the unit, so washing plates and utensils meant using the small bathroom.

Gina’s local tips led us to a creek where we actually saw a platypus. That was an amazing moment and the highlight of our trip. She also greeted us with a smile and upgraded us to a nicer room for free, which was a lovely surprise. Blue Summit Hideaway is right in town, just a short walk from everything. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable after a full day exploring, and the gardens were beautiful and clearly well cared for. The service was genuinely friendly, and we loved our stay.

I called looking for a room that day and was first told they were booked out, but they rang back when one became available. They were friendly and very accommodating. The room/apartment was outstanding and beautifully appointed. I’d highly recommend it.

Gina went out of her way to fit me in, even though I booked after hours for an immediate stay. The room was exceptionally clean and cozy, with thoughtful extras you don’t usually see. If you’re after good old-fashioned service, Blue Summit Hideaway is the place. Highly recommend!

Our King Twin Spa Villa looked over quiet parkland, with gardens, lovely trees, and wildlife that charmed us. The location in Yungaburra village is handy to the shops, pub, and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights and were delighted with our choice. The villa was thoughtfully fitted out, and we didn’t want for anything. Gina and the housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. We’ll come back for another stay.
