Addison Hotel

I had a very bad experience with the service. I called reception three or four times to ask for help, but nobody provided the service I needed. I don’t know how they run a hotel if they can’t handle requests on time.

Our stay at adisson, baku was very bad, and we wouldn’t recommend it. Room service was especially poor: the phone didn’t work properly, and the refrigerator kept stopping. There was mould and fungus inside it. We had to ask many times before they brought basic tissues and water. Breakfast was awful and nowhere near the standard it should have been.

The breakfast was awful, and my sister found ants in her cereal. Hygiene was horrific too: the sheets and pillows were stained, the carpet looked as if it had never been cleaned, and the cleaning staff only straightened the blanket instead of cleaning. We had to insist several times before they changed our room because of the smell. The staff were slow and didn’t listen. “Terrible” hardly covers it. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The bathroom floor stayed wet because of a leak that seemed to have been left unrepaired, which felt unhygienic. The room also had no air conditioning, making it nearly impossible to sleep in the heat. With no curtains, sunlight woke us at the crack of dawn, and there was no privacy or rest. Breakfast was a letdown compared with the photos and descriptions: stale bread, a few pieces of fruit, and watered-down juice, nowhere near worth the price. I rarely leave a bad review, but I was extremely disappointed. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. This place needs serious improvement before it should be open to guests.
