The AC didn’t work, things were falling apart, and there was a constant cigarette smell coming under my door. The carpet and general maintenance were poor too. Hot water wasn’t available in my room. They kept asking me to wait, but after two hours I ended up showering in another room because we were going out for dinner. The WiFi also wouldn’t work in the room, and again they told me to wait. The manager was abrupt and really needs a job that doesn’t involve people. I wasn’t treated well at all, the worst by far in six months of travel. They still wanted to charge full price for half the services, and laundry cost $33, which is extremely steep. I think there are far better options. Skip this place and stay elsewhere.

The hotel was good value at 50 manat, and the staff were friendly. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the main transit hub. The free breakfast was great.

I’m very glad I picked this hotel in Baku. The rooms are quiet and spacious, and breakfast is excellent and free. There’s also a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel!

A friendly staff and a decent budget stay, fairly close to the city center. It’s 10 minutes by Uber or a 30-minute walk. I’d recommend it to travelers looking for a simple place, though not if you’re after luxury.
