The location in downtown Baku was a highlight. Deluxe Hotel sits in the middle of the Baku City Circuit, across from the iconic Crescent Building, close to the waterfront and within easy reach of local coffee shops and seaside promenades. The price was hard to believe. I would have gladly paid three to five times more for the value. My room was clean, stylish, and well appointed, and the stay felt luxurious without being pretentious. I’ve stayed at dozens of high-end hotels around the world, from Four Seasons to Park Hyatts, but the warmth and value here were hard to match. Osman and Vaqif, the two gentlemen running the hotel, welcomed me like a VIP from the moment I arrived. They gave me a free upgrade and late checkout, and even showed me around the area. Their hospitality felt personal and sincere. For a boutique stay in Baku with world-class service, an unbeatable location, and a human touch, I’d choose Deluxe Hotel again. I’ll absolutely be back.

Being so close to the boulevard made us happy, and the staff were very attentive.

I can’t believe this hotel has five stars. The bathroom and toilet were very dirty, and the bathroom wall was covered in mold. Staff were unprofessional: they knocked once and then came right in. The glasses used for alcohol were reused for water and juice at breakfast, and they stank. Worst hotel I’ve ever seen.

The service and cleanliness were average, and breakfast was poor. It’s a decent place for singles, but I wouldn’t recommend it to families.
