A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "Jireh Baku Hotel" is located in Baku. This hotel is located in walking distance from the city center. A restful stay overall. The hotel is central but quiet, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was a mixed bag: the female receptionist was a gem, while the male receptionist was less so, and the breakfast lady seemed to have a rough morning every day. The internet was patchy.

Most of the bathroom fixtures were broken, and breakfast was extremely basic, just watermelon. The hotel is old and needs renovation urgently. The staff seemed lazy and somewhat misleading. There are better places around, including ones with better rates.

The room for three was filthy, with an unclean carpet, duvet, and bathroom, and insects all over the room. The breakfast hours were very short, from 8-10am, and the windows looked straight onto another building attached to ours. Jireh was dirty throughout. The lobby was hot and only took cash, and the atrium smelled of cigarettes. We were very unhappy with the stay.

The location is its only saving grace. I can't believe the earlier reviews were written by people who actually stayed here. If this qualifies as a 3-star hotel, then a 1-star place must be a park bench.

There's no lift and no complimentary water in the room. The room gets cleaned once every three days, and there was no welcome drink. Breakfast was just okay, with no variety.
