The rooftop restaurant has an amazing city view, and breakfast is delicious. It’s a budget-friendly place with good value for money, right in the heart of the city and close to the tourist attractions and Old City. Works for solo travelers and families alike.

The room prices felt reasonable for the quality. At the reception desk of Madinah Hotel, Mr. Amin made the whole process smooth and pleasant. He was welcoming, attentive, answered all my questions promptly, and his friendly, professional manner set a positive tone for my visit. Highly recommend!

Avoid this place. It’s far from the city, filthy, poorly maintained, and nothing works properly. They took our money and then made excuses to avoid refunding us. The staff were manipulative and took advantage of guests to scam them. These people are thieves and con artists. This kind of behavior needs to stop. If you’ve had a similar experience, don’t hesitate to contact the police to put an end to these scams.

This seems best for people who spend their time traveling around baku and don’t need to be in the room much. The location is what gets the highest marks. For the rate I received, the stay was ok’ish. The breakfast area was my main concern, though they’re upgrading it to a much better terrace view area, so it should improve soon. I’d also suggest getting the carpets and washrooms much cleaner, or replacing them if they’re already worn out.
