We ended up out on the street late at night after raising a complaint, and they didn’t give us a full refund. We even contacted the police, but they didn’t help. We booked through Booking.com, where the hotel seemed to have decent reviews, so don’t be misled. The place was said to be new, but there was a strong unpleasant smell as soon as we walked in, and it didn’t meet basic cleanliness standards. The bed linen was clearly dirty, with hair and other questionable stains in the bed. Hygiene was extremely poor, and the service was terrible. It’s disappointing to find this kind of hospitality in such a beautiful city.

There was a spider in the room, but that’s normal. What wasn’t okay was all the hair in there. It was every color, and definitely not ours, so they need to pay attention to the cleaning. Breakfast was good, and the lady working there was very attentive and kind.
