The location works well for pilgrims visiting Medugorje on a budget. It’s hard to communicate in English at times, but WhatsApp helped. On check-in, we were unpleasantly surprised to learn it was cash only, which threw off our plans for handling money on the trip. Luckily, we were only there for 3 nights. We tried breakfast on the second day and were very disappointed, mostly because another large group had used up much of what was available. The owner acknowledged the issue and didn’t charge us for the bread, coffee, and croissants. The owner did his best to sort out each problem, including mobile chargers and breakfast. The church services and other religious activities also helped keep our attention on being pilgrims rather than tourists.

The location is very close to the church, and the simple continental breakfast is good for the price. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with really friendly staff. I’d recommend it and will return.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly. It's a good standard pension in a very central spot, across from the church and about a three-minute walk away.
