Beautiful View Of Sarajevo Center

We stayed with our family in September 2023. The owner was helpful, and having parking at the building was a plus. Baščaršija was about 5-6 minutes away by car. But our apartment was disappointing. Despite the building looking new, the furniture inside was old and some of it was broken. It didn’t seem very clean, either. I woke up with back pain after sleeping on the broken sofa, and the old bed, sheets, and pillows weren’t comfortable. Maybe other apartments have a better view or newer furniture, but ours didn’t. I’d suggest replacing the furniture, equipment, and other items with new ones; that would make it more appealing to guests.

The views over Sarajevo are lovely, and it’s a good choice if you want to stay near the center. We parked the car and walked about 10 minutes to the center, after a 2-minute drive to the parking. From there, tram no. 3 goes to Ilidza; after another 10-minute walk, you can take a carriage along the Great Alley. Carriages have been running that route since 1895, and the ride is a memorable experience.

The owners were so helpful and had a great attitude. Whenever we needed anything, they provided it. The apartment was very clean, with a close private parking spot and a view over old city of sarajevo. There’s a washing machine shared by the small apartments, while the big apartment has its own. We had an awesome stay. Honestly, I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

The landlord was really helpful and fun to talk with. The apartment didn’t feel clean, though, and the Wi-Fi was very poor. The sofa was uncomfortable, and it and the chairs had some suspicious white stains.
