Hotel Logavina 8

The location was very convenient, close to everything we needed. But the parking garage they said was part of the hotel was actually a 15-minute walk away. The owner/receptionist was unfriendly and arrogant, and the room was so tiny there was literally nowhere for our luggage. The price and hygiene were okay.

The staff were really nice and friendly, and the Wi-Fi was fast for a hotel, around 100mbit. The room was small and had a bad view. Its shower head was broken, and the toilet seat was badly aligned. The wall insulation is awful, you hear everything: people in the hall, someone speaking a little louder in another room, doors opening and closing. It didn't feel private unless you spoke quietly.

The room was very compact and missing basics like drinking water, a kettle, and a fridge. The AC was awkward to use and kept switching off. Parking is around 550 meters away, and the uphill walk takes about 7-10 minutes, with pauses possibly needed. Still, the reception lady was incredibly kind and helpful, and the location makes it easy to walk to most main sights. There’s no breakfast at the hotel, but plenty of nearby restaurants have great options. Would I recommend it? Yes, for the location and service, as long as you know about the room’s limitations.

The owner drove us between the hotel and the parking, which was a real help since it was a long way away. The staff were great and very helpful. The hotel is right in the centre of old town Sarejevo, and the location would be hard to beat.
