The location, right beside the main area, was the only thing I liked. It was also noisy there, and opening the windows at night wasn’t really an option, even though they had bars in front of them. If spiders bother you, this probably isn’t the right place either. We spent two nights in a ground-floor room, and it was filthy. The floor looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned for days, with dusty dirt and belongings left by earlier guests. There was mold in every bathroom corner and beside the beds, and both the towels and sheets were dirty. The day after leaving, I noticed a bedbug bite on my foot. Maybe that explains the extra sheet over the mattress. When we returned an hour after checkout to collect our luggage, someone else was already checking into the room, so the cleaning seemed very rushed. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very well placed for visiting the Muslim area and the other sights around Sarajewo. We were there last month and found the service very good, and our room was clean. I’d recommend staying here! :)

The old Bosnian style of the rooms was something we really liked, and the location was great. Staff were friendly too. You have to reserve parking in advance, but I didn’t notice that when booking. Luckily, there was a parking lot next door. The rooms could have been cleaner.

The staff were friendly, and the location is so good it helps make up for the downsides. Our room was cramped, with little space to move, and the bed creaked a lot. Booking says free parking is available, but there are only three spaces and every one was taken when we arrived. We ended up parking nearby and paid more than 50 euros over two days. If you’re bringing a car, keep that in mind. That’s why I’d give the service two stars, despite how helpful the workers were.
