Blue Haven Holiday Apartments

We all had different tiers of rooms, and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were polite and always helpful. Special thanks to Princess, who greeted us with a smile every time and was especially helpful and polite. I’d stay here again and recommend it.

The room turned out to be very nice, quiet, and clean, and the people there were friendly. Before we arrived, though, the email we got with all sorts of rules and instructions left us with a bad feeling about the place.

Blue Haven was quiet all week, with no kids on the property. I hope they add a gym someday, since that was the one thing missing. It seems especially well suited to couples or solo travelers. The room was small and quaint, but remarkably clean. I even saw a staff member take their shoes off before going in, which told me all I needed to know. There was a beep in the room, though it was hard to hear unless you listened for it. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and someone was always at the front desk. You can walk to St. Lawrence Gap in 10 minutes, and the airport is a 14 minute taxi ride away. There are plenty of good food options nearby, plus a market that stays open a little late for emergencies. The apartments are handy for getting to what you need in Barbados. The beach wasn’t the best because of the Sargassum. Nothing in the area felt sketchy to me, unless you’re just not used to being outside your own environment.

From 9th - 23rd August 2025, in Room 306, I felt completely comfortable at Blue Heaven apartments. I’m very detail oriented, and the place exceeded my expectations. As soon as I looked around, I knew I’d found something special. The facilities are clearly centered on cleanliness, and the staff are always there to help with what you need. The apartments have a unique feel that makes you feel like a resident rather than a guest, almost as if you own the place for the length of your stay. The intimate atmosphere at night, with the tiki torch flames in the background, really feels utopian.
