O2 Beach Club & Spa All Inclusive by Ocean Hotels

The property was good, but for the price I found it extremely overpriced. We paid almost US$ 11,000 for three rooms for four nights with my family, and I don't think it was worth more than US$ 6-7,000. I usually stay at five-star resorts and would rate this one four stars at best, definitely not five. I don't plan to return. The restaurant options are limited for a stay of that length, and the choices got boring. Oro was the best, but I could only eat there for one breakfast and one dinner because it was closed at other times. Service at the other restaurants was extremely slow, and sometimes the food arrived cold or never arrived at all. One day my bathroom flooded because the shower door didn't shut properly and water ran into the hallway. I called housekeeping twice and went to the front desk twice. It took almost five hours for them to clean it up, because they wouldn't do it until turndown service. Until then we had to cross the wet hallway, trying not to slip and fall. Totally inexcusable.

The staff treated us like family, and their kindness and attentiveness made the trip unforgettable. They made us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived, even while traveling with our five-year-old and 18-month-old. The resort was beautiful and relaxing, with a family-friendly feel. Ocean views were breathtaking, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was a highlight, too. Everything we ate was excellent, and the chef went out of their way to meet our family's needs. We were impressed by the quality, variety, and attention to detail. We had an amazing stay, made memories we'll cherish, and would absolutely recommend this resort to families looking for a relaxing, welcoming getaway.

The views from the Sunset building were amazing, and housekeeping kept our room clean and the mini fridge stocked. We were seven people celebrating birthdays, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout the resort. Jill at the front desk, Shaquille at the bar, Jakobi, Yvette, and Kevin were some of the best people we met. They were helpful with food and drink choices, excursions, and suggestions around the island. The AC was tricky to regulate, and the bathroom sink design sent water across the counter. Those issues were minor compared with how much we enjoyed the stay. We’d definitely come back.

What I liked most was the peaceful atmosphere. Even on weekends, things were quiet by 10 pm, so it’s a good place to unwind, though not if you’re hoping to party late. The staff greeted me warmly, and my room felt like a one-bedroom apartment, with a huge shower and lovely ocean views. The resort has four restaurants, and they fill up quickly, especially on weekends, so book ahead. Breakfast ends at 10 am, so sleeping in means missing it. The food was tasty and included some local dishes, and I enjoyed the evening entertainment. The beach has strong waves and gets rocky farther out. Depending on your height, you may only want to go in up to your knees. Around the pool and ocean, some people leave towels on lounge chairs for three or four hours while they’re away. Staff try to find other guests a place, but I wish people were more considerate.
