Fanush Resort

The manager was rude, and the third-party cooking team charged 500 taka just to heat baby food for three days. There was no breakfast, the toilets were unhygienic, the blankets smelled, there were no mattresses, and the greaser wasn’t working. The place is far from the city, so even a simple lunch or dinner meant paying 600 to 1,000 taka for the trip each time. The service was expensive for what we got. It was a terrible stay, especially for a family. If Google had a zero rating, I’d give it that.

The location and service both get 1 out of 5 from me, and the room gets 1 out of 5 too. The resort is about 5 km from the city, has no transport available, and a city trip costs 600 to 1,000 taka each way. There’s no security guard, and only two employees, the manager and a cleaner. The manager’s behavior was disgusting. Rooms weren’t cleaned daily, the room condition was very bad, and the bathrooms were filthy. The greasers didn’t work and there weren’t mattresses in any room. There’s no breakfast, and lunch and dinner were poor but very expensive. The kitchen is run by a third party, so they don’t provide kitchen service for children. The service overall was awful, and this resort isn’t suitable for a family vacation.

I left my watch behind at the hotel and had already gone to Dhaka when I realized. They kindly sent it to me by courier. I really appreciated that, and the hospitality and service were excellent.

The setting is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the location is excellent. It’s a lovely place to stay with family or friends.
