Hotel D'more Bandarban

This was my worst experience so far. When I called to reserve a room, the person who answered spoke rudely, used inappropriate language, and suddenly hung up. He said he'd called me from a different number, but that never happened. When I tried to follow up, he rejected my calls.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room service and breakfast service both need to improve. We found issues in some rooms, including phones that didn't work and flushes that weren't working.

I stayed three nights and was generally happy with the stay. The decor was good, and the staff behaved well. The washrooms were dirty, the basin taps were loose, and there was a spiderweb on the room ceiling. The AC would run for two or three hours, then stop and show FO. I complained, but nothing was done.

For the price, I doubt you'll find a better hotel in Bandarban. The rooms feel just right since the hotel is still fairly new, and ours was luxurious, well equipped, and had a clean bathroom. Staff service and behavior were nice. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, though getting it took patience. Most menu items weren't available, and you need to order well ahead, around 1-2 pm for lunch and before 8.30 pm for dinner. Eating outside the hotel would put you off. The restaurant was my only complaint.
